Sydney's childhood has a lot of traumatic memories. Although her parents loved her dearly and did everything they could to protect her, Sydney did not come out of it unscathed, constantly swarmed by media attention and their invasive methods to get close to her. Her mom and dad were mega movie stars so once Sydney is moved out of the spotlight, she shuns all kind of gossip or media surrounding Hollywood related news. She prefers to keep her past a secret and live her life as someone who blendsI usually refuse to read a book that has a cliff hanger. For some reason this one drew me in and wouldn't let me go. Fortunately for me the author created something I thought was only a myth, an actual kinder & gentler cliffy! Just enough to keep me interested in the next installment but not so bad that i become crazy as a woman in the middle of her monthly visit with no chocolate in site.......Well done Miz Leigh.

I met this awesome author at an event this weekend and fell for her first, she's awesome btw, then she told me about her booms and how book one was free so I one clicked. (I also got the paperback) Sydney has lived her life as relatively normal as someone with famous parents can. I won this book and I am so happy that I did. It sounded great when I read the excerpt but I wasn't sure what to expect since this author is new to me. Let me say that once I started reading this book I could not put it down! I was intrigued from the very beginning. I have been tired all week because I continued to want to read more! The books description just lept off the computer screen at me, and I took a chance and one-clicked.
