I did not like the heroine, Darcy, at all. I felt that she was so accepting of the vampires but shunned her own people, the weres. It made her come across as very prejudice, judgemental, and close minded. I like my heroines to be someone I would want to be friends with or at least in some way redeem themselves at the end of the story and this character did none of those things. This was not one of my favorite Ivy books.
My favorite so far!
The book was so repetitive. In almost every chapter you could read about how the hero, Styx, was feared by all vampires, how fierce a warrior and so forth. Yawn. I think Alexandra Ivy had a good plot going with the vampires and the werewolves on their way to a treaty and a sweet story between H/H but it never got developed but neither got the attention they needed.
