Everyone knows Dr. Watson is Sherlock Holmes' right-hand man - so when he goes missing, it's a shock. Even Sherlock hasn't, well, the slightest clue as to where he could be. Enola is intrigued, but weary; she's still hiding from her older brothers - and getting involved could be disastrous. But when a bizarre bouquet shows up at the Watson residence, full of convolvulus, hawthorn, and white poppies, Enola must act. She dons her most discerning disguise yet to find the sender - and quickly, for Enola knows the blossoms symbolize death!
Hold your breath, because Enola's about to take it away. The stakes are higher and the mystery deeper than ever before in this third installment of this Edgar Award nominated, critically acclaimed series.

This is my third book in Nancy Springer's series featuring 14 year old Enola Holmes, younger (much younger) sister of Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes. Love this series.

AUDIO BOOK REVIEWAnother interesting and enjoyable installment in the Enola Holmes series!I still love the fact that this series revolves around mysteries that are geared towards YA and can - in most cases - be solved along with the protagonist.I really like Springer's style here, and her protagonist, Enola, is a plucky and determined young lady! This installment deals on a slightly more personal level for Enola, as the mystery involves dear Dr. Watson, who has mysteriously gone missing! This
Terrific story with an interesting mystery and more of the family dynamics in this Enola outing. It is fun to read how she comes up with all these costumes and disguises to fool those around her, much like her brother Sherlock!Am looking forward to the next story in this fun series.

Enola Holmes, the younger sister of Mycroft and Sherlock Holmes, has set herself up as a consulting detective. When she hears that Dr.Watson is missing, she dives into the investigation. Her only clue is that Mrs.Watson has been receiving strange bouquets. Enola is a wonderful heroine, smart, resourceful, and gutsy. I love watching her skills develop and her relationship with Sherlock shift.
