Description To Books Harvest

Medical resident Dr. Abby Matteo is elated when the elite cardiac transplant team at Boston's Bayside Hospital taps her as a potential recruit. But faced with a tormenting life-and-death decision, Abby helps direct a crash victim's harvested heart to a dying teenager -- instead of the wealthy older woman who was supposed to receive it. The repercussions leave Abby shaken and plagued with self-doubt. Suddenly, a new heart appears, and the woman's transplant is completed. Then Abby makes a terrible discovery. The donor records have been falsified -- the new heart has not come through the proper channels. Defying the hospital's demands for silence, she begins her own investigation that reveals a murderous, unthinkable conspiracy. Every move Abby makes spawns a vicious backlash...and on a ship anchored in the waters of Boston harbor, the grisly truth lies waiting.

What a absolutely stunning book!! Once again this is an added book to my pile of favorite thrillers!! I was captivated by every single page I read that I couldnt put it down. Thats why I literally finished it in one day (granted I stayed up till 12:30 in the morning to finish it lol). But yes, this was an incredible, horrifying, heart-racing medical thriller, I enjoyed every single page I read and at the end my heart beat tripled! Definitely didnt expect some of the plot twists and at the end I

Dr Abby DiMatteo felt like she was in a good place; a second year resident at Bayside Hospital, and working with the elite cardiac transplant team she was just beginning to feel that all her hard work, the study, the years of staying at home when her friends went out partying and her huge student debt; it was all worth it. With the devastating loss of a female car crash victim, brain dead but healthy in every other aspect it meant, with the husbands permission, the heart was ready to be

,,Harvest'' by Tess Gerritsen is the first book by this author which is not Rizzoli and Isles aeries but grapped my attention in a total way. I really read it in almost in one sitting. Although I was very liesitating taking this book because the main hero wasn't Jane or Maura. To my amusement Abby DiMatteo was not even am ambitious surgeon grapped me completely. Young, inteligent, suspicious was a perfect heroine. ''Harvest'' focuses on organ transplants and the story involves organ donation on

This book is a medical thriller about the organs black market trade made famous by Robin Cook's 'Coma'. The plot is nothing new and the villains fairly obvious from the start itself. It was still interesting enough for me to keep turning the pages but I have read much better work by this author. Not up to her usual standards.

Totally captivating story...Tess Gerritson tells a good medical thriller story time and again, being a physician herself makes the descriptions seem so real. I have read lots of her books, and each time, they keep me reading and I have to force myself to stop and turn out the light at night. Good read.

You know a book is really good when you read it all in one sitting. This book grabbed my attention immediately and I just did not want to pull myself away. The story centers on medical resident Abby DiMatteo, an ambitious new surgeon. Amidst the stress and sleep deprivation of her job at the hospital, she finds herself stumbling into irregularities with her hospital's transpant team. More specifically, organs seem to be coming available without the usual documentation. She starts to investigate
