Personal Response:I really enjoyed this book because it is very relatable. Even if you don't live on a beach or an island you can still relate to the events that happen between characters. I personally liked how Anna was open to Will even though he was a shewbee or a vacationer. My favorite part of the book was how Anna and Will go on their own types of dates, and not how everyone else does. Overall I think Sixteenth Summer is a well written love story.
