Write Up Appertaining To Books The Evening Tide (Sun, Moon, Sand and Star #1)
Without giving too much away I must say this was definitely a different approach to story telling. I am intrigued by the universe that Forsyth has built as well as the characters who occupy it. As I read this the phrase, "Dance with the devil you know" came to mind, especially when I got to the conclusion. The old saying that power corrupts has a corollary - power tends to attract those who are easily corruptible. As I reach the conclusion of "Tide" and anticipate the next installment, I wonder

Very clever.

Rose or Pebble (whatever her actual name was) frustrated me beyond belief, but besides her character, I can appreciate why this book has received such good reviews. I enjoyed this book. The characters were well written, and I must say that the plot was very clever! Love finding hidden gems on Goodreads.

Damn you for fooling me!Never have I ever read a book and re-read it immediately upon finishing reading it. The author is simply brilliant and had me fooled. One should read this book in one sitting, otherwise you risk getting lost within the pages. I was too arrogant and a big a fool to have judged this book badly in my mind, as I was reading and not realizing at first the brilliancy of how the author kept switching form past to present. Who could have thought that the end is at the beginning?

Entertaining, thought-provoking and unexpected!First off, I would like to assert that the plot line was rather clever and I understand why others thought so as well. Forsyth obviously took a lot of care in writing this book in a very unconventional way--and still managed to keep the logical elements one looks for. This flowed even to the end, where the reward did not disappoint. I have already started The Broken Rose and I am finding that one enjoyable as well. I want to know what the Highborns

I absolutely loved this book. The characters are relatable, the world believable and the plot is a stroke of genius. Didnt see that ending coming at at!! I cant wait to read The Broken Rose.
